About me

I'm here for the couples that want to feel connected and close again, but literally cannot seem to have a single conversation without it turning into an argument. The couples who really struggle to collaborate and make decisions together. The couples who feel like ships passing in the night and also feel scared to do something about it. The couples that always find a way to disrupt the moments where they actually do feel connected by finding something "wrong" with the other, or something to argue about. The couples who have kids and feel more like single parents co-parenting than a collaborative partnership working together.

I'm also here for the individuals who struggle desperately to express themselves. They're usually deeply in touch with what's going on on the inside, but getting it to translate to the outside is where they face difficulty. Often overcome with fear, anxiety, social anxiety and other internal obstacles, I help individuals under these conditions identify and overcome the obstacles keep them from more authentic living and self-expressing.

I utilize a psychodynamic approach with all my clients. This approach dives deep and pays careful attention to your upbringing, your environments from early on until now, and your most important interpersonal relationships. We want to understand and identify links between what you're experiencing now and what you've experienced throughout your life. This insight usually provides us what we need in order to bring about the change you're seeking. I do this work delicately, carefully, and with a small dose of humor when it feels right.

In my free time, I love to spend time with my family, play beach volleyball, surf, cook, and find the best coffee out there.

I'd love to connect over a brief 15 minute free consultation call if you're interested in learning more about me or my work before scheduling. Typically we will know in just a matter of minutes whether this will be a good fit or not. I'm quick to understand whether I can help you and if I don't think I can, I will be honest about that and provide you immediate referrals to connect you to someone who can.

Looking forward to connecting.
