I believe that all of life’s ups and downs have brought you to this moment. I want to celebrate you for making it to the point where you are pursuing therapy. This takes so much courage and bravery and deserves to be recognized. Props to you!
As a therapist, I believe that our past informs our present in more ways than one. This is why you possibly respond to rejection, disappointment or shame in ways that feel confusing or unmanageable. Perhaps you leave tense interactions with your family, friends or partner saying, “What in the world happened there?” This is where the work begins for us. It’s my job to become a student of your inner world and to identify the experiences that have shaped you.
As we explore together, I will lead with empathy, encouragement and curiosity anchored in an integrative psychodynamic approach. Along the way, we will dismantle limiting thoughts that no longer serve you and we’ll discover new ways of being that create room for you to experience healing and to be your true, authentic self.
