About me

I help individuals who feel overwhelmed by their thoughts, unmotivated and overwhelmed in life, and stressed by their relationships to experience more contentment, more relief, and healthier relationships through depth-oriented therapy. My approach will include talking about current stressors (such as relationships, grief, or life stage transitions) as well as attending to past formative experiences, such as childhood trauma and family upbringing.

I especially enjoy working with mom’s of young children, navigating the challenges and stresses of the pre- and postpartum stages to help bring a sense of balance, feelings of connectedness to yourself and others, and a stronger sense of how to manage the unique stressors of parenting.

I work with couples who feel stuck in unhelpful communication patterns or feelings of disconnectedness. We will explore common cycles in your communication, seek to understanding current and desired ways of relating, and work to bring a stronger sense of connection to the relationship. I also work with couples for pre-marital counseling who want to build a strong foundation of healthy communication and connection during the early stages of their relationship.

One of my specialties is working with individuals and couples who want to process or integrate their Christian spirituality or background. This includes working with those who work in vocational ministry, have trauma related to their spirituality and church experience, or anyone who values having their faith background as a part of the conversation in the therapeutic work.

I believe that creating a safe relationship where you can feel heard and accepted is central to the healing process in therapy. I would love to talk with you to hear about what you're experiencing, and how we can work together towards your growth and healing.
